Our Take on SKIL Reciprocating Saw
A reciprocating saw is something that every handyman and homeowner should have in their arsenal of tools. These saws are great for a number of applications including, but not limited to, home renovations, demolition, yard work, and even pruning. When looking for a quality reciprocating saw at a great price, consumers should look no further than the SKIL Reciprocating Saw. This saw has a number of great features including a tool-less blade changing system that makes it easy and fun to use.
When using this saw, the powerful motor is able to power through most if not all small jobs and is very comfortable to use. The only issue was changing the speed of the blade – the speed control is separate from the saw trigger, which can make it difficult to change the blade speed without stopping the blade first. Additionally, there is no safety catch included on the saw, which is something to be careful with, especially for those still learning how to use their tools. With that being said, the easy blade changing system is perfect for quick and simple use on all jobs.
Overall, I was very impressed with the SKIL Reciprocating Saw and the power it provided in such a small saw. This would be great for a homeowner or demolition team for doing yard work projects, removing cabinets, taking down simple structures and the like. Great tools are an investment, and this is one everyone should invest their money in!
