The chronic skin condition eczema is characterized by itchy, scaly rashes. In its most common form, it can lead to the development of other allergic conditions, like hay fever or asthma. The number of eczema cases is increasing, with percentages being anywhere between nine and thirty percent of people affected in the U.S. alone. Sufferers can control this disease with various treatments, including some of the natural methods below.
You will need:
- Tomato juice
- Vitamin E oil
- Zinc powder or zinc capsules
- Blueberry leaves
- Pine tar soap
- Shark cartilage
- Oolong tea
- Measuring spoons
Step 1: Mix 1 teaspoon each of sandalwood and camphor to create a paste. Apply this daily to the affected area. This will prevent it from becoming itchy.
Step 2: Make a paste using 1 teaspoon each of camphor and nutmeg and apply this to the affected area.
Step 3: Gently massage several drops of Vitamin E oil onto the affected areas. Do this daily in order to quickly clear up the eczema.
Step 4: Apply zinc powder to the rash or consume one zinc capsule per day.
Step 5: Drink one glass of tomato juice each day to get eczema relief.
Step 6: Wash the affected areas with pine tar soap to get rid of the eczema.
Step 7: Create a lotion by mixing shark cartilage with blueberry leaves. Apply this to the affected area to clear up the rash.
Step 8: In many cases, allergies trigger eczema. Avoid consuming foods to which you have a known allergy. Also, avoid foods containing soy or nuts.
Step 9: Do not wear uncomfortable clothing as this may encourage a rash to develop.
Step 10: Change to a low carb diet to reduce or eliminated inflammation and itching related to eczema.
Step 11: Drink one quart of oolong tea per day to reduce eczema itching and inflammation in a day to two weeks.
