You will need:
• 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
• 1 ¼ cups sugar
• ½ cup butter
• ½ cup all-purpose flour
• 2/3 cups pecans, chopped
• 2 large eggs
• 2 ounces chopped milk chocolate
• 2 ounces chopped semisweet chocolate
• 9-inch square baking pan
• Small saucepan
• Cooking spoon
• Large bowl
• Cooling rack
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Butter the baking pan and lightly flour it, shaking off excess flour.
Step 2: Combine the unsweetened chocolate and butter in a small saucepan. Cook these ingredients on low heat, stirring them with the spoon, until they are melted and appear smooth.
Step 3: Transfer melted chocolate to the bowl. Whisk in the eggs and sugar. Add the pecans, flour, and milk and semisweet chocolates. Stir the ingredients until they are well-combined.
Step 4: Pour the brownie batter into the baking pan.
Step 5: Put the pan in the oven and bake the brownies for approximately 30 minutes. Brownies are cooked when a toothpick stuck into the center is removed with just a few crumbs.
Step 6: Transfer the brownies to a cooling rack. Cool them completely and then use the knife to cut them into squares.
